In about one week, you can take the gospel to those who have never heard it. Short-term mission teams allow believers like you to visit unreached communities, share the good news of Jesus, and support local churches—usually in less than 10 days!
East-West operates in more than 40 countries across 10 major world regions. Short-term mission teams travel to many of these nations. These teams work closely with field leaders and national partners to strategically share the gospel where it’s most needed.
There’s a reason we call them “teams” and not “trips.” Nothing unites believers like a short-term mission team. You’ll encourage each other daily as you do ministry together in the world’s spiritually darkest places.
You’ll experience how God can use you in His great Kingdom purposes as you share the gospel with the lost. After your team heads home, our network of national partners will disciple new believers and plant churches in unreached areas.
As you traverse city streets, remote villages, or small towns to evangelize the lost, you’ll rely on the Holy Spirit daily and experience spiritual growth like never before. You’ll witness firsthand how God is working among the unreached.

Mission Teams are East-West’s most general form of short-term mission team. These weeklong, evangelism-focused teams work in partnership with national churches and long-term missionaries. Together, we work to reach their communities with the gospel. We take teams of 10-15 to unreached cities to engage in spiritual conversations about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Extreme Teams blend our passion for the gospel with your love of the outdoors. Over a week’s time, you’ll work alongside national partners to scale mountains and bring the good news of Jesus Christ to people living in the world’s most remote locations. The physical challenge, spiritual growth, and gospel impact of an Extreme Team makes this a unique experience you will always remember.
Arise teams are specifically for women. We believe that women who are equipped to live boldly for the gospel are a key to unlocking movements of the gospel in the world’s spiritually darkest places. On an Arise Team, you can experience God’s hand at work among the unreached as lives change forever. Put your faith into action by joining Arise on the mission field.
NEXT Teams are designed to empower the next generation to lead others to worship God by combining leadership development, evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. Through these short-term teams, we equip students and adults to discover God’s heart for the world and the unique role they are called to play in His mission.
Medical Teams allow you to use your medical giftings and heart for the nations to help those in need while sharing the love of Jesus with the people you serve. Through the gift of medicine, we’re able to access areas that are historically hostile to the gospel. Each team needs medical and nonmedical professionals willing to train nationals in various East-West overseas fields.
