Training Leaders to Make Disciples Then and Now

When East-West began twenty years ago, our desire was to train Russian and Eastern European pastors to evangelize and disciple their own people.

Then: Training Beginnings

What you see above is our first training center in Russia. It was here that scores of Russian pastors and believers learned how to share the gospel, train others, and plant churches.

Now: Training Evolution

Now our training doesn’t always happen in a training center, but it’s still an important part of our core ministry strategy.

Then and Now: Training Across the Globe

We still faithfully train pastors in Africa as you can see in the top photo. We also train believers to plant house churches in difficult regions like Central Asia, as in the second photo. In the third photo, you see believers in India learning about the Bible, evangelism, and church planting during a training that prepares them to be church leaders and planters. In the last photo, a man in Spain is studying at a seminary to gain more intimate knowledge of the Bible and theology so he can lead a church effectively.
