The Path to Finding God in Grief

I used to be Muslim and went through lots of pain and grief in my life after losing my family. I wanted to commit suicide but didn’t because Islam taught me that suicide is a terrible sin.

I began to seek meaning in life and decided to move to Russia in hopes of changing my life. My misery continued in Russia for 10 years as I lost my eyes working in construction and went to jail.

Finding God in Grief Through Christian Love

I was desperate the day I met an East-West national partner. He welcomed me in his home, fed me, and clothed me like I was a family member. I spent lots of time with him and his family, and he shared about His faith in Jesus often. The gospel was something that I had never heard before.

My heart was opened to the truth, and I realized Jesus was the One I had been seeking my whole life. That day, I knelt down and asked God to forgive my sins through Christ.

The Joy of Finding God

God changed my life forever, and His peace and joy fill me from the inside out.

Now I want to serve Him and share the good news with other Muslims who are hopeless and without salvation. I’m thankful to God for allowing me to go through all tests, losses, and hardships because it led me to the point of being willing to hear His Voice.

God, bless Muslims all over the world and bring them to Jesus Christ!
