White isn’t just reserved for weddings in European countries. It’s worn for baptisms, too.
New Believers Clothed in White
Through the ministry of one East-West national partner, Muslim refugees from the Middle East and North Africa are hearing the good news of Jesus, responding in faith and clothing themselves in white to enter the baptismal waters.
In fact, 40 new believers were baptized on one Sunday. That same day 35 believers were trained to multiply disciples and churches, and the following Tuesday during a routine worship service, a family of four went forward to profess their trust in Jesus Christ for salvation.
One city, three days, 79 lives changed for eternity in response to the love of Christ and grace of God.
The Gospel Spreads
Daily, more believers are being activated to missions and more people from unreached groups and places are encountering the gospel for the very first time.
In this one city, a movement of the gospel is starting through one faithful follower of Christ and his team of disciples. Their ministry has now produced six generations of disciples making disciples, each of whom have identified with Christ’s death and resurrection through baptism.
“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands” –Revelation 7:9, ESV emphasis added
