About East-West
About The Work
Going where CHrist is unknown
At the beginning of 2026, East-West launched a new three-year strategic focus called Multiply. Rooted in the Great Commission, Multiply is a commitment to intentional strategy, discipleship, and partnership so the unreached are reached with the gospel. When these things work together, we will see lasting fruit in the world’s spiritually darkest places.

So far in 2026, God has already worked through these goals to move among the unreached and change lives for eternity. Take a closer look at the first goal to see how the Lord has been shining the light of the gospel this year.
To reach the unreached, we need to preach the gospel where Christ is not known. But first, we need to know the places where the gospel hasn’t been preached. As part of the Map the Mission goal, East-West is tracking the churches in every region, state, and village where we work so we can strategically plan where to go next. This will not only help us focus our resources where they’re most needed; it will also position us to most effectively collaborate with other like-minded organizations in our church planting efforts.
Mapping the mission leads to more people hearing the gospel, more people professing faith in Jesus, and more disciples and churches being multiplied among the unreached. East-West’s goal is to map the churches in 100% of our fields by the end of 2027. See how the Lord has allowed field workers to progress in this goal so far this year:
East-West field workers have already benefitted from mapping the mission efforts. In South Asia, believers have been diligently working to canvas thousands of villages to identify the state of the gospel work in each community. They looked for which villages had believers, which had churches, and which had no knowledge of Jesus. The workers uploaded the data to a software where they could quickly see which areas are in most need of the gospel.
Armed with this information, the local leaders in South Asia were able to direct a recent East-West short-term mission team this past summer to the villages that had no believers, allowing the team members to focus their limited time on sharing the gospel with people who had never heard of Jesus.

Every day, the Lord is moving among the unreached. Lives are being changed as people step out of spiritual darkness and into God’s light. See what the Lord accomplished in the first half of this year through East-West.
