Seeking Truth

Spiritual confusion, poverty, and oppressive societies have long kept the gospel from advancing through Latin America. But the people are searching for hope.

Recognizing that their tribal religions cannot provide the answers they’re looking for, Latin Americans are seeking truth and finding it … in the gospel. The Church, fueled by the power of the gospel message, is advancing as nationals take up the cause of Christ.

Because of dedicated believers, the seeds of the gospel are faithfully being spread across Latin America. East-West is committed to nurturing these seeds that are being planted. Each year we lead short-term trips, equip nationals, and provide vital humanitarian aid to the region … so that the Kingdom may multiply.

Hope for a Wounded Soul

Eduardo was only 5 years old when his parents abandoned him. Alone, he managed to survive on a simple diet of beans and corn.

When he was 12 he married his wife and was adopted into a community of indigenous people with whom he lived for many years.

A few years ago, Eduardo, his wife, and 15 other people were lawfully given a sizable stretch of land that would become a small town where they could settle.

The land had previously been owned by a revolutionary group that was armed and violent. When Eduardo became the leader of this small town, he quickly learned that this revolutionary group was not going to let go of the land easily.

Bible Training Center for Pastors in Latin America	East-West provides church-based training to equip evangelists to spread the gospel in the Caribbean. More Details

JESUS Film Projectors	East-West provides solar-powered projectors to evangelists. This allows them to travel to remote villages without electricity to show the JESUS Film. More Details
Latin America National Evangelism	East-West partners with the local church in the Caribbean to support evangelists as they travel throughout the region. They implement church planting strategies and support the work of the local church by training them in evangelism and church planting. More Details

Orphan Ministry	East-West ministers to orphans through short-term mission trips and orphanage partnerships. These ministries touch the lives of orphans worldwide to show them God’s love. More Details
Evangelize the Lost	East-West scatters the seeds of the gospel in areas with limited or restricted access to the gospel—the most spiritually dark regions of the world. More Details
