Blessings Abound in Kenyan Ministry By Brian and Heather Jamison, East-West Missionaries
Recently, in the Bible class that we teach in Kenya, we studied “The Church.” We surveyed church history, studied the priesthood of the believer, and discussed the implications for each individual’s role in the local church. As in the West, the Kenyan church tends to view paid clergy as the only individuals able to share the gospel. This limits the gospel’s reach into Kenyan society.
Russian Pastor Risks His Life to Minister in Siberia By Pavel Sinitsa, A National Pastor in Russia
Pavel Sinitsa, a Russian national pastor, recently embarked on an adventurous ministry trip to Siberia. He writes, “Our team’s goal was to visit believers who live so far north that they have no spiritual support. Our trip was very dangerous. We had to drive across Baikal Lake, the biggest freshwater lake in Russia. Last year 10 cars fell in and the people in them drowned.
345 New Believers in India By Brad and Jinks Greenstreet, Missionaries to India
We recently had the opportunity to share the Gospel with over 3000 people in India. As a result, 345 people trusted Christ for salvation. We met a Hindu priest who showed us his Hindu Scriptures and pointed out the Hindu temple across the street. Yet he chose to put his faith in Christ and eagerly received a Bible.
