You are cordially invited to join East-West at a special and intimate gathering at the home of Mike and Melinda Lafitte in Sea Island, Georgia, April 25-28 (Thursday-Sunday).
East-West exists to glorify God by multiplying followers of Jesus in the spiritually darkest areas of the world. This task requires the whole church going to the whole world—reaching the lost with the good news of Jesus. Our time will be filled with encouraging testimonies and stories from East-West frontline missionaries and key leadership. We will be led in worship by Shane & Shane throughout the weekend as well.
Our prayer for our time together is that God would be glorified and stir the affections of your heart into a deeper relationship with Him, motivating you to fulfill your role in the Great Commission.

Kurt provides leadership and oversight to all worldwide ministry endeavors in the 40-plus countries in which East-West currently operates. He also personally leads short-term mission teams to various countries.
Kristen Shuler • President-Elect, Executive Vice President of Development, Senior Vice President of Field Leadership
Kristen provides oversight and strategic direction to East-West’s development, marketing, and communication departments. She also serves the field by leading our field leadership team. Kristen has been selected as East-West’s next President and will assume that role once a new Executive Vice President of Development is hired.
Field Speakers • East-West
Various field speakers will share stories and updates from the spiritually darkest areas of the world. East-West field workers seek to take the gospel where the name of Jesus is not known through evangelism, discipleship, and church planting.
Shane & Shane • Worship Leaders
Shane & Shane is a Dove Award-winning worship band led by vocalists Shane Barnard and Shane Everett. The band also encourages and equips worship leaders through an online resource called The Worship Initiative.
Jeff Warren • Senior Pastor at Park Cities Baptist Church
Before becoming the senior pastor at Park Cities Baptist Church, Jeff was the founder of Fast Break, a ministry that served the Dallas business community. He is also an author and has led marriage and men’s ministries.
Please plan on booking travel on your own. Sea Island is about an hour’s drive from Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), or about 75 minutes from Savannah/Hilton Head International (SAV).
Lodging is available in our block at The Cloister for $695 nightly (plus fees and taxes). Upon your confirmation of your attendance, we’ll gladly reserve a room for you in our block.
A variety of free time activities may be arranged in Sea Island, Georgia, including golf, fishing, and other waterfront activities.
